Skills and talent
Access to a skilled workforce
We can help your business thrive in Hertfordshire. You will have access to stable local workforce and a growing pool of highly skilled and qualified talent, plus a pipeline of graduates from University of Hertfordshire. The county also has a strong construction, advanced manufacturing and digital tech skills base.
The University of Hertfordshire works with local businesses to help them plan for their future skills needs, offering relevant courses that support both smart construction and agri-tech and graduate placements.
Further Education support comes from West Herts College and Oaklands College, empowering the next generation of talent, meaning businesses have access to a qualified workforce now, and in the future.
We are working with local education providers to develop a joint action plan that will boost the education offer and local skills development.
